Building the studio
To get a first class dancefloor with "spring", layers of plywood separated by
rubber "dimples" and covered with tar paper are used as a foundation,
then the hardwood flooring is laid,
sanded, spackled, re-sanded, stained, and polished...WHEW! All this work was done
by the owners, instructors, and volunteers (local dancers).
Work began Memorial Day weekend and the studio opened July 1, 2002.
